It was with great pleasure that I found Joanna and her family in Paris for a nice pregnancy session in the park. Joanna dreamed of a session in blooming sakura which coincided perfectly with her second pregnancy. And what a happiness it was when she contacted me to see me and together be able to capture their wonderful family moments with their husband and their first son, little Gabriel.
There are several parks and squares in Paris where you can admire the cherry blossoms, but everyone is still waiting for Sakura to bloom at Sceaux park in the Hauts-de-Seine (92). Admiring the cherry blossoms takes place in April and this activity even has a name - Hanami. A centuries-old Japanese festival that consists of appreciating the beauty of the flowers. Fortunately, the park is on the outskirts of Paris, but I recommend a weekly morning session. You can have this beautiful pink landscape all to yourself! This is also how we planned our session so that my family would feel comfortable. It is very important to me that nothing disturbs us during the session and in the pleasure we have at that moment.
For families, a session in the park on a sunny morning is the ideal solution. Especially in spring and summer when it's warm, the children feel comfortable outside, they can play and run around their parents, show me their favourite toy, and even jump into mum and dad's arms and they love it!
